We are a well-established community preschool based in North Cave Village Hall since 1967. The setting is community based with voluntary management, the day to day running is managed by Julie Tooke and her team of highly qualified, motivated and experienced practitioners. We offer children a child led rich, varied and imaginative learning experience. We have an open door policy where parents/carer are welcome to come and look around the setting without prior booking.
Our setting aims to:
- Provide high-quality care and education for children below statutory school age
- Work in partnership with parents to help children learn and develop
- Add to the life and well-being of the local community
- Offer children and their parents a service that promotes equality and values diversity
We are committed to ensuring that our service is fully inclusive in meeting the needs of all children. We recognise that children and their families come from a wide range of backgrounds with individual needs, beliefs and values. They may grow up in family structures that include one or two parents of the same or different sex. Children may have close links or live with extended families of grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins; while other children may be more removed from close kin, or may live with other relatives or foster carers. Some children come from families who experience social exclusion, severe hardship; discrimination and prejudice because of their ethnicity, disability and/or ability, the languages they speak, their religious or personal beliefs, their sexual orientation and marital status.
We accept 2, 3 & 4 year old funding from 15 to 30 hours (subject to status). We charge a suppliment for funded children of £1.00 per day.
Non-funded places are £5.00 per hour.
We accept childcare vouchers.
Bills are sent out half-termly and can be paid by cash, cheque or bank transfer.
